This page provides instructions for users to request deletion of their account and associated data from the Dryber Captain mobile application. Follow the steps below to request account deletion, and review what data will be deleted or retained.

📋 How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your Dryber Captain driver account and all associated data, please follow one of these methods:

Method 1: Via Email

  1. Send an email to: support@dryber.in
  2. Subject line: "Account Deletion Request - Dryber Captain"
  3. Include the following information:
    • Your registered phone number
    • Your Driver ID (if available)
    • Your full name as registered
    • Reason for deletion (optional)
  4. We will verify your identity and process your request

Method 2: Via Phone

  1. Call our support line: +91 9812171295
  2. Request account deletion
  3. Provide your phone number and Driver ID for verification
  4. Our support team will process your request

🗑️ What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your Dryber Captain account, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  • Personal Information: Name, phone number, email address, physical address
  • Profile Data: Profile photo, driver profile information
  • Document Images: Aadhaar card images, driving license images, bank passbook images
  • Booking History: All past and current booking records
  • Earnings Data: Earnings history, payment records, commission data
  • Account Settings: All app preferences and settings
  • Device Information: Device IDs, FCM tokens, session data
  • Location Data: Stored location history and coordinates
  • All Associated Data: Any other data linked to your account

⚠️ Data Retention & Legal Requirements

Important: Data Retention for Legal Compliance

In accordance with Indian law and regulatory requirements, Dryber Technologies Private Limited may retain certain data for legal and compliance purposes:

  • Financial Records: Payment and transaction records may be retained as required by tax regulations and financial laws
  • Legal Compliance: Data required for legal proceedings, disputes, or regulatory compliance may be retained
  • Fraud Prevention: Information related to fraud prevention or security incidents may be retained
  • Retention Period: Such data may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian law

Note: All other data not listed above will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of receiving your request. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

During this period, your account will be deactivated and you will not be able to access the app or receive new bookings.

Before You Delete

Please consider the following before requesting account deletion:

  • ✅ Download any important data or documents you may need
  • ✅ Cancel any active bookings
  • ✅ Resolve any outstanding issues or disputes
  • ✅ Note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
